Blog #27:
I tossed and turned to the sound of my alarm, followed by LaLa's voice. I moaned and groaned as I felt someone squeeze my ass, pervertedly trying to get me to wake up.

LaLa: "Come on lil girl, it's 10:30. You have classes."
B: "I'm tired." I declared. "I have 2 more hours."
LaLa: "First your mad at me for not waking you up, then you ignore me when I try to. Make up your mind, woman."

I sat up against the headboard of Nick's bed and detangled my hair from around my face and neck. I threw it up in a ponytail before clearing my eyes and thinking about the night before. I remembered most of the parties, having sex and sleeping. I grabbed my head as LaLa threw the blinds open.

B: "LaLa, just because you don't get hangovers doesn't mean other people don't." I said, covering my eyes. She closed the blinds, rolling her eyes.
Ant: "Can yall 2 quiet down?"
LaLa: "No baby, get up. You too B, let's go. Your first class isn't for a while but once we leave nobody will be here to wake you up but Nick."
B: "Okay so let him wake me up."

She pointed to the bottom of the bed, where Nick was knocked out.

B: "Why's he down here?"
LaLa: "Because Ricky came in and he knew yall situation was complicated. I tried waking Nick up like 5 times now and he refuses. If we just leave, yall 2 will sleep all day."
B: "I need to chill with the partying." I said, swinging my legs to the side of the bed.
LaLa: "You know your weekend was crazy when you were turnt on a Sunday."
B: "That's God's day. We going to hell." I said laughing and standing up to readjust my shorts.
LaLa: "My excuse is that I'm young. Get ready! Anthony get up. I'll make you breakfast."

She walked out the room, fully dressed and ready. I put on Nick's slides before grabbing the room door.

Ant: "B?"
B: "Wassup?" I said turning around. Ant was entangled in the navy blue covers.
Ant: "She always like that?"
B: "No. But that's a good thing."
Ant: "Why you say that?"
B: "Because she's not predictable."

----------------------------------------------

Ricky left the house before everyone, and didn't say why. LaLa and Ant left together since they both had morning classes. I brushed my teeth and washed my face before I spent a half hour making breakfast for Nick. After his food was done, I made him a plate and went in his room to wake him up.

B: "Breakfast in bed."
Nick: "Thank you babe." he said, picking his head up from under the covers. He swung his legs over the edge of the bed as I sat on the floor, at his knees. "What I do to deserve this?" he said smiling, finishing his first piece of french toast.
B: "In general, or you want specifics?"
Nick: "Specifics."
B: "Well you been good to me. Not to mention last night was amazing." I said laughing, biting his sausage. I put it back on the plate before he playfully pulled his plate away.
Nick: "I don't need rewards for that. That's how it's supposed to be. You'll always get the best of me, the worst is yet to come."
B: "Did you just quote The Weeknd?"
Nick: "That's why I love you, because you knew that." he said before giving me a kiss.

Did he just say I love you? They say if someone says it during sex, they just in the heat of the moment. We weren't having sex.. but he was still in bed and I made him food. I didn't know if he meant it, so I acted like I didn't hear it.

B: "We have a little time left before we have to go to our classes. Would you like to take a shower with me?" I asked, with a smirk on my face.
Nick: "Let me think about it."

He finished his last sausage and had only one piece of bacon left. I stood up and pulled my shirt over my shoulders. He licked his juicy pink lips, and I instantly knew I was doing something right.

Next, I took off my shorts and seductively kicked them off in front of me. He pulled his phone off his nightstand, then put on Slow Motion by Trey Songz. I knew he was getting into it as he sat back on his elbows and watched.

Just want to see you dance in slow motion.

We can take, we can take, we can take our time, baby.

In slow motion.

I pulled my hair out of a pony tail and turned around. I whipped my hair over my right shoulder and unclipped my blue and purple, PINK bra. I took it off and let it drop to my side before sliding my hands to my hips.

So tell me when you ready.

I'ma speed it up for ya just for a second.

Just for a second.

Then I'ma slow back down and keep it steady.

Still turned around, I poked my butt out before sliding my panties off. I turned around and slowly walked to him, sitting on his lap.

We can take, we can take we can take our time, baby.

In slow motion.

I ran my fingers through his hair and kissed him passionately, before he tried to whip his dick out. I stood up and walked toward the door.

Nick: "What you gonna leave me with blue balls now?"
B: "Let's finish this in the bathroom."
Nick: "B, I never knew you was such a freak." he said getting up.
B: "A lady in the streets and a freak in the streets. That's how it's supposed to be."
Nick: "Oh you stealing my words now?" he asked, scooping me off my feet.
B: "What's yours is mine." I said as he walked in the bathroom and shut the door.
Nick: "Forever and always."

Two minutes before my last class was over, I read an e-mail from Ms. Perkins.

Hello girls. This is a friendly reminder that there's a charity event at 6:00 P.M. We're helping out around the local Children's Hospital, bringing goodie bags. Matching white outfits and gold sneakers have been placed on all of your beds. If you go home and you find you do not have one, please e-mail me immediately. All week we'll be having charity events, which you would know if you payed attention to the calendar. Thursday and Friday, you will have off so you can prepare for the Winter Royale. Please no drinking, smoking or whatever else you kids do these days. BE ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR ALL WEEK. Here's the attached schedule for the people who really haven't payed attention at all. See you girls later, and your welcome. -Ms. Perkins

Mon: Children's Hospital
Tues: Community Service
Weds: Help at the Venue for Winter Royale

I made a face at the community service. I texted Nick to meet me outside to pick me up, and checked my Instagram to see how many likes I got. After my first class, I posted a picture of my 2 good friends: Eric and Jason.

Nick said he was on his way but took too long, so I waited on a bench and called LaLa.

LaLa: "Hey girl. You get that e-mail?"
B: "Yeah. I'm so irked about the community service part. I don't even clean up my own mess."
LaLa: "Right. What you doing, though?"
B: "Waiting for Nick to pick me up. He's being a boring texter and taking forever."
LaLa: "Oh that reminds me. You know he mad at you, right?"
B: "What I do, now?"
LaLa: "You know that picture you posted with Eric and Jason?"
B: "Yeah, it got 132 likes since earlier this afternoon."
LaLa: "Well Nick screenshot it, sent it to me and asked who they were. He didn't say he was mad but he seemed like it."
B: "When was that?"
LaLa: "About 2 hours ago."
B: "Well I gotta go. He pulling up right now, I'll see you when I get home."
LaLa: "No being nasty! It's already 4:30. You can't be late."
B: "Okay, bye."

I hung up as I grabbed the door knob and sat in the passenger's seat. I put on my seatbelt and Nick still didn't make eye contact or speak to me.

B: "Hi, baby." I said leaning over, trying to kiss him. I missed his lips because he pulled away, so I only kissed his cheek. "What's wrong with you? Give me my kiss." I said, playfully.

I grabbed his cheeks and kissed his soft lips before turning the radio up. I'm the queen of pettiness- if he can run and tell our business before asking me about it, I'm just not going to address it before he does.

Nick: "You play too much. Who them niggas on your Instagram?"
B: "I don't know. What'd LaLa say when you asked her? You know, so I can make sure we have the same story."
Nick: "Stop tryna be a smart ass."
B: "They just friends. You would've known that if you just asked instead of asking everybody BUT ME."
Nick: "What you mad for?! I'm not the one taking pictures with other bitches!"
B: "They friends. All they do is help me with my work. Just friends."
Nick: "Where they help you at?"
B: "Class, and Eric helped me at the cafe."
Nick: "That's it?"
B: "That's it. I'm an open book."
Nick: "You know when you hang out with them niggas, they got other things on their mind? They want to fuck, that's what they want to do."

I started laughing as he went on a rant, yelling and driving recklessly.

B: "Chill out before you kill us both. And actually, Eric's gay and Jason's not my type. I like that you jealous, though. Shows you care."
Nick: "Fuck allat. One thing I won't be doing is have you out here looking stupid. I'm asking for the same thing. You can have guy friends and all that but I don't like seeing yall all touchy-feely. Tell them niggas keep they hands to theirselves."

I laughed and nodded my head, but the fact that he asked LaLa before me still bothered me.
We pulled up to the Alpha Delta house, and I grabbed my bag from off the car floor.

Nick: "I believe you, baby. Sorry for trippin." he said before giving me a kiss.
B: "And I forgive you."
Nick: "For what? I did nothing wrong."
B: "You really think there's not a problem with asking everybody but me?"
Nick: "It wasn't everybody, it was just LaLa. What's the problem?"
B: "The problem is that's how relationships don't last. Everybody in your ear and if you listening to them before you listen to me, that's a problem."
Nick: "I see nothing wrong with it, but I guess."
B: "You guess? Well I guess I don't forgive you."

I got out the car and slammed the car door behind me. As I walked up the front steps, Nick rolled his passenger window down.

Nick: "Okay baby, I'm sorry!"
B: "No you not! You just saying that so we can have sex later!"
Nick: "That too!"

I shut the front door behind me and locked it. LaLa came down the spiral-y steps before looking out the window in the front door.

LaLa: "Was that you and Nick arguing just now?"
B: "Yeah he got me fucked up." I said going up to our room.

LaLa calmed me down as I curled my hair, getting ready for the visit to the children's hospital. I got a text before we left the house, which started another argument between Nick and I.

He was saying how I'm a wildcard, and that I never know if I'm hot or cold, as he put it. I wasn't mad about the hot or cold part, because I know that's not true. I was mad about the wildcard part, though. He said it like it was a negative thing.

We all piled into the bus with red goody bags filled with candy, Barbies and WWE action figures. LaLa and I were sitting, reading Nick's responses when Cassie sat at my side.

Ms. Perkins walked on the bus, saying how she was proud of everyone for being on time and ready. There had to be over 500 goodie bags in white cardboard boxes, sitting in the back of the bus. The bus pulled off as I finished my text to Nick.

LaLa: "Just ignore him. Block him until you calm down."
B: "I don't get it. He says that I'm a wildcard like it's a bad thing. Personally, I hate predictable people. For the most part, that's boring."
LaLa: "Well it's not like he saying you boring. He just dumb- men are dumb. He doesn't understand where you coming from so obviously, you have to explain it to him."
B: "I tried and he still didn't see a problem with it."
Cassie: "What yall talking about?"
B: "Mind your business." I said looking at my phone.
LaLa: "Don't mind her, she's upset right now. Hey you know Vanessa?"
Cassie: "Yeah we're good friends."
LaLa: "So you know about their situation?" she asked, pointing to me. I blocked Nick and put my phone on my lap to listen to their conversation.
Cassie: "I do, but I didn't know until a week after the fact, when I asked her about her black eye."
B: "Yall, this not the time for this. Too many people ear hustling."
Cassie: "When we get off the bus, then." she said, as if she wanted to finish the conversation.

If I were her, I'd think twice about wanting to continue the conversation. She was at the game with LaLa and I before and after we found out about Vanessa and Ricky. Had I not found out myself, I'm not sure Cassie would've told me.

We pulled up to the hospital and all the girls got off the bus, holding boxes.

Ms. Perkins: "Okay ladies, we're going to go to the cancer care unit and go from room to room handing out the goodie bags. Story time is at 7:00 so make sure you're on time and where you're supposed to be. Make groups of 8 and take a cart to put your goodie bags on. Make sure you talk to and motivate these kids."

After we got our cart and made a group of 8, we piled on the elevator where Cassie stood next to me and continued where we left off.

Cassie: "If you were asking me on the bus if I knew about Vanessa and Ricky the day of the game or before then, the answer is no. But I told Vanessa how distraught you were, which prompted her to grow the balls to apologize. Hoping you'd except her apology I invited her to the Winter Royale." I hope you don't see it as me trying to play you."
LaLa: "Okay but had B not found out and you found out before her, would you have said anything?" she asked.
Cassie: "It's not my place, so probably not."
B: "It's not your place to tell us this right now, yet you are. That's fine, though."
Cassie: "B, it's not even like that."

The elevator came to a halt and we went from room to room, handing goodie bags to sick children. Talking to the kids and getting to know their stories really made me humble myself. I started to realize that the situations with Nick and Vanessa weren't that deep anymore.

I was still mad at Nick, but as long as he apologized and knew what he was apologizing for, I'd accept it.

------------------------------------------

Community service was at 6:00 P.M. the next day. Nick and I still hadn't talked because he was blocked.

Since LaLa was feeling sick and couldn't make it, I invited Amy to come help with community service, and surprisingly she was down. I thought it'd be picking up trash off the side of the road, but all they wanted us to do was help clean a middle school, 45 minutes from campus.

Right before we left, Amy and I shared a blunt in the back of the school. I told Amy everything that was going on and she told me still hadn't responded to all of James' attempts to apologize. He did her so wrong and I could tell it was still hurting her, so I invited her to a hair appointment I had Wednesday afternoon.

I knew I wanted to spice up my look for the Winter Royale, since pictures of the night eventually ended up everywhere. All over social media, newspapers, yearbooks and even Fox News. This was probably going to be the highlight of freshman year, and I was ready.

We went back to the Alpha Delta house, where LaLa was still laying in bed.

B: "You still don't feel good?" I asked LaLa, crawling onto the bottom bunk and laying behind her.
LaLa: "Nope. My keep getting migraines and I'm nauseous."
Amy: "Didn't you throw up this morning?" she asked, climbing on the top bunk.
LaLa: "Yeah that, too. By the way, Nick stopped by for you but I told him you were out, B."
B: "Okay thanks. Hey LaLa, do you use condoms?"
LaLa: "We used to at the beginning, but it's so much better when he goes in raw."
Amy: "Oh my god." she said laughing. "You're so blunt."
B: "Did you ever think maybe your pregnant?" I asked, lifting my head from her pillow.
LaLa stood up and started pacing back and forth, nibbling on her thumb.

Amy: "Let's not jump to conclusions. When was your last period, LaLa?"
LaLa: "Too long ago." she said, starting to cry.
I hopped down from the top bunk and hugged her.
B: "You know what? It's okay. Let's go get a pregnancy test right now."

I threw on my grey hoodie and some black tights before we all ran to my car and drove to CVS to buy a pregnancy test. LaLa nibbled on her fingers the whole time, also grabbing chips and a soda as comfort food. We drove back to the house and the first thing LaLa did was snatch the test out my hands and run to the bathrooms.

B: "Gee, you're welcome." I said up the steps.
LaLa: "Thank you!"

Amy and I put our stuff down in the room before going in the bathroom and waiting for the results to show on the stick.

LaLa: "That's funny."
B: "What is?"
LaLa: "I'm waiting for a stick to deliver my fate." she said, putting her face in her hands. "I'm not ready for a baby."

Amy picked the stick up off the sink.

B: "What's it say?"
Amy: "I'm so sorry LaLa. It's positive."
