Ellie Rose ~

I took a sip of my champagne while having some chit chat with a circle of woman I bumped into a few minutes ago. I could felt Mason's eyes on me all the time. Even Matteo and Antonio also keeping their eyes on me like I'm a baby. Seriously?

"Excuse me" I said to the circle of woman and made my way towards Mason who's talking with Antonio with his hands inside his suit pant pocket. He looked up at me and a grinned tugged on his lips.

"Hey bella" He mumbled wrapping his strong arms around my waist pulling me closer to him. "You guys are keeping eyes on me and it's making me feel really uncomfortable" I murmured playing with his tie.

"I know baby but it's for your safety. Anything could happened here" he kissed my cheek. "And I've to keep you safe first"

I glanced at Antonio with pout.

"I'm sorry Ellie but It's Mason's order" Antonio shrugged.

I wrapped my arms around Mason's neck and buried my face at the crook of his neck suddenly feeling my eyes getting heavier. "Just few minutes more love than we'll go back home" Mason mumbled kissing my cheek. I hummed tiredly.

"I think she's drunk" I heard Antonio chuckling. "Yeah I saw her having four glass of champagne" Mason replied running his fingers through my hair. I opened my mouth to speak but suddenly the lights went off and Mason's gripped on my waist got tightened. My eyes got widened when I heard the womans screaming. "Shit, they're here" I heard Antonio saying to Mason. I tightly closed my eyes when mason slowly carefully walked us in a corner. It was so dark that I couldn't see anything as the woman screaming and fear filled the room.

"Ellie, Are you okay?" Mason asked Kissing my temple. I slowly nodded. "Mason we've to get out of here before they find you and Ellie" Antonio said. I was so scared that I couldn't uttered a word. "Ellie" Mason cupped my face when the lights come back but it was dim light. "Stay here. Don't dare to move until I tell you to, okay?" He asked. He sound almost out of breathe. I nodded and he kiss my lips softly.

"I love you" he pecked my forehead and before I could replied he pulled away from me. I watched as Mason pulled out a gun from his waistband with Antonio following his action. I looked around covering my ears when the gun shot sound filled the room. I slide down the wall tightly closing my eyes.

Mason.. Please stay safe..

Few minutes passed and everything got silent. I slowly opened my eyes when I couldn't hear gun shots and woman screams. I felt as my heart stopped when I saw people lifelessly laying on the floor with blood around them. I slowly stood up wiping the tears that rolled down my cheeks.

Mason, Where's Mason?! I hope he's okay.

I immediately hide under the table when I heard few footsteps stopping just in front of my table. "We've to find her, Fast!" One of them yelled. I covered my mouth with my hands tightly closing my eyes. Few minutes later, My eyes got widened when I felt a gun pressed at the back of my head.

"So you're hiding here, little mouse" A voice said. "Stand up" I slowly stood up feeling tears filled my eyes. "We've been looking for you little mouse. Now who's going to save you from us?" He asked coming in front of me. That man was wearing a mask as he tilted his head scanning me up to down. I gasped when two man grabbed my wrists from behind. And as he was about to touched me I kicked him on his stomach causing him to groaned.

"Fuck, you bitch!" He yelled.

"Let me go!" I yelled trying to get free but failed. "I'm feeling so sad for you little mouse" he stepped closer to me. "And I'm feeling even more sad to tell you that- you've lost your love" he said caressing my cheeks with the gun. I felt as my heart stopped. "W-what?" I stuttered. I couldn't believed what he just said.

Mason- no! He can't. He can't leave me.

"STOP LYING! I KNOW HE'S SAFE AND HE'LL KILL YOU WHEN HE'LL FIND YOU OUT!" I yelled as tears rolling down my cheeks. He only laughed and pressed the gun onto my temple.

Before I could kicked him again  that man slapped me on my cheek hard.

"I'm trying to be nice, little mouse but you're pushing my limits off" he said grabbing my hair. I whimpered when he tugged down my hair roughly.

"It's the truth. Mason Williams is no more in this world" he whispered. "But don't worry, we'll send you to him soon, little mouse" he laughed.

I closed my eyes crying as I felt my knees gave up.

This can't be- Mason please..

My vision began to get blurry with the darkness getting all over me. I heard gun shot sound and before my body gave up, pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist catching me calling my name but the darkness took me in.

I shoot the last man and glanced at Antonio as he shoot other two man. Antonio walked to me wiping off his sweat. "Antonio, let's get back to Ellie" I said and he nodded his head. We run  downstairs to the room where I've hidden my Ellie. But fuck. My eyes went wide when I saw few man standing wearing masked around Ellie. One of them was about to touched her but she kicked him on his stomach causing that bastard to groaned.

"That's my girl" I whispered to myself.

For fucking god sake. I felt as my blood boiling inside me as that fucking bastard slapped her.

I'll make sure to cut that hand of yours, bastard.

Two man held my angel while one of them had his fucking gun pointed at my angel. My angel was crying as that fucking bastard said something to her. I swear, by touching my princess, he has signed his death sentence. I slowly carefully took my steps hiding behind a pillar. I pointed my gun at the two man standing. I pull the trigger once and shoot the one of them before quickly changing the gun's direction and shooting the second man between his eyes. I watched as the third one pointed his gun towards me. Before he could shoot, I pulled the trigger and firing the last bullet of the night. That's when Matteo and Antonio got into the room firing the other three man.

"Ellie.. " I whispered running towards her.

Before my angel could fell- I wrapped my arms around her waist catching her. "Ellie.. I'm here baby" I whispered looking down at her. "Ellie! Open your eyes! Ellie!" I yelled as she kept her eyes closed. I felt as my heart stopped. No- "For fuck sake! ELLIE!" I yelled shaking her body to wake up. Matteo and Antonio run up to me.

I stared at Matteo afraid to hear the next word when he took her hand in his but he let out a relief sighed checking her pulse.

"She's okay" Matteo said glancing up at me. I sighed kissing her forehead. She's okay. My Angel is okay. I felt as I got my life back. I picked her up in my arms quickly getting out from the restaurant. Matteo and Antonio following me. I got inside the limo as my chest rising up and down. I looked down at Ellie to see dry tears on her delicate beautiful face.

"I'm sorry.." I whispered leaning down to pressed my forehead against her. "I'm sorry.. You've to faced all this because of me" I whispered as tear filled my eyes. I won't be able to forgive myself if anything happens to her. "I'm sorry, baby" I softly pressed my lips against her closing my eyes. My angel. when I opened my eyes again, it went widen. Her big chocolate eyes meet mine.

"Mason.." she softly smiled at me.

"I knew.. I'll be okay if you're with me" she softly spoke causing my heart to fluttered. My Amore. I bite my lip, smiling.

"I love y-you" she whispered when I leaned down to pressed my forehead against her.

"I love you even more" I whispered back gently pressing my lips against her. Only god knows. How much I love this woman. My Angel, My love. My fucking world.

It was silent as we stared at each other. Her beautiful eyes held so much emotion in them. So much love. God.

I kiss her forehead. She can barely keep her eyes opened. She was wasted.

"Remember, Ice -cream?" She asked biting her lip, smiling. Her rosy cheeks turning bright pink. I couldn't helped it when a grinned tugged on my lips.

I was stood by the door way as I watched Ellie sleeping on the bed. I moved Ellie with me few weeks ago. After the incident she isn't safe anymore and I can't take any risk.  After the incident in the business dinner a few week ago, Ellie having nightmares every night for the last two weeks and I'd make sure to checked her every night and once I finished my work. I crossed my arms over my chest, chewing on my lip.

"You're creepy, Mason" I heard Amara's voice behind me.

"I can't help it, Amara" I muttered, turning around to face her.

"But that doesn't mean you're going to watched her even when she's sleeping" Amara roll her eyes when I let out a sighed.

"She's really stressed after the incident and I'm really worried about her" I said glancing at sleeping Ellie. "She needs some time to recover, Mason" Amara said glancing at Ellie than back at me. "Give her sometime"

"And take some rest too. You've to be strong for her" That's all Amara said and pat on my shoulder before walking back to her room. I took a deep breath and slowly made my way towards the bed. All I want to do is just hold her in my arms and kissed her. I want to calm her down when she experience a nightmare. I'll be with her no matter what even when she doesn't want me to be. I slowly carefully get on the bed making sure not to wake her up. She's finally sleeping peacefully after a nightmare. I slowly wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me. As much as possible. She hummed burying her face in my chest.

God. It feels so fucking good having her so closer to me after a fucking week.

I love you" I mumbled softly kissing her head. I run my fingers up and down through her smooth chocolate hair. I closed my eyes at the scent of her. God. I missed it.
