Chapter 56

__Ellie's PoV__

8 years later

Love can be something that has several meanings to different people. It is shown everyday, whether if it's towards family, friends, pets, or partners. Love is one of the strongest forces in the world because it can either build or destroy a person. I finally felt like my feelings of knowing that I deserved love and happiness were finally real. I knew he was out there but i was starting to give up hope. Im glad i didnt have lacked confidence all my life because I was told quite often I was something less than I really felt about myself, I started to believe it all. When I met him he just saw past my flaws and just truly cared about me.

Love is the most special bond you can have with a person, and I am so blessed to have so many people in my life that love and care for me.

One of them is my husband. Mason Williams.

It's been 8 years since we've been married. I still can't believe it. After all the hardships and rough time, we made it up.

He have loved me in good and in difficult times. He have been my pillar of strength. He stayed by me through my flaws and down moments, and he never judged me when I was at my worst. He never gave up on us. Instead, he embraced me into his loving arms just the way I was and showered me with care so pure and unconditional that it made me cry. His love is definitely deeper than the ocean, and I cannot wait to spend my rest of life the life with this man.

My once sorrowful heart is now overwhelmed with joy from the moment he walked into my world and changed it for good.

I cannot wait for the beautiful future, we're going to have with our kids and our little family. We will do all the awesome things we have always dreamed of doing in our lives. All the promises. I don't know what good deeds I have done to deserve this man. But I am grateful that he came my way.

As I walk down to the pier and look out at the sky, I finally felt relaxed gazing into the wonderful act of nature. As I shut my eyes, I could hear the soothing sound of the waves brushing again the stones. I felt the beams of the sun begin to warm up my face and arms, so I gradually begin to feeling the sweat falling from my skin. I feel a slight breeze that brushes against my skin, but I do not mind because the breeze felt so cold on my warm skin. The taste of salt lingers on my tongue from the breeze, but it does not bother me. Everything seems so calm.

A sunset is one of the most beautiful creations. To me, a sunset paints a thousand words;

I felt gently slowly arms wrapping around my waist from behind. And a smile tugged on my lips.

"What are you doing here, everyone is waiting for you" Mason whispered kissing on my shoulder.

"I just wanted to see this view" I replied staring at the beautiful sunset. "This is so beautiful"

"Not more than you though" he whispered. I closed my eyes, feeling cold wind hit against my skin. A peace. It was all I was feeling. The man I love with my whole heart was with me.

"I can't believe it's been 8 years and we are married" I said turning around to face him. A gorgeous smile playing on his face as he brushed my hair behind my ear.

"Me too" He pressed a kiss on my lips.

"I'm so grateful that I went to that club that night" He continued. I stared at him with questioned. "Otherwise I wouldn't have met you" he grinned.

I couldn't helped but grinned.

"I was about to cancel the plan you know" I said teasing him.

"But you didn't, because we're destined to meet Bella" He whispered. I stared at him before smiling.

"I love you" I whispered placing my lips against his.

"I love you so much Mrs Williams" He whispered cupping my face gently and leaning his forehead against mine.

It was the last Friday of the summer term. The malicious sun was going down and could be seen clearly in the peach evening sky. It was Marcullo and Bella's birthday party.

He was almost 15. How fast the time flies. The sweet aroma's from the meat sizzling on the barbeque were being carried by the gentle breeze. The party seemed to be hotting up well. People were getting into the groove, the atmosphere was full of relief, excitement and promise. Everyone coming and wishing Marcullo. Mason and Diana greetings the guests while Antonio and Ryan checking up on everyone. The whole mansion was filled with people, balloons, gifts. The amount of gifts Marcullo received god.

"Are you happy?" I asked smiling at Marcullo who was having chit chat with his friends. He smiled at me and nod his head. He whispered something to his friends and walked up to me.

"Thanks to you and dad for this surprise" He sweetly said taking my hand and placing a kiss on it. "I couldn't be more happier"

"I'm so glad son" I whispered adjusting his tie.

"Marcullo can I take your phone?" Bella yelled. We looked up to find her on the stairs. "I can't find mine and I've to take photos"

"No way" Marcullo replied.

"Thank you brother" She smiled sarcastically and ran to his room. Marcullo pressed his lips together and looked back at me.

"I'll be right back Mom" He said clenching his jaw and I shook my head knowing there's going to be world war 3.

"BELLA I SAID FUCKING NO! " Marcullo yelled chasing her to upstairs. I let out a laugh. God.

He was exactly like Mason.

"Well well, As you know it's our little champ Marcullo Romano's birthday, so we've arranged a dance prom" Antonio announced. I walked to the balcony to see him standing on the stage. The claps of people filled the air.

I rest my chin on my hands, smiling at him.

"Ellie, honey" Mason called out. I turned back to see him entering the balcony with a man of same age as him. I never saw anyone standing so close with Mason as this man was standing.

Suspicious.

"Leo Davis, my best friend" Mason introduced. Oh? I never knew he had a best friend? "I never got to introduce you with him because he was In America and we got some issue between us so we stopped contacting"

"Hello" He smiled at me extending his hand out for a shake. I smiled back and shake our hands.

"Hello Mr Davis. It's so nice to see you" I answered back.

"Same Mrs Williams" he said. "And this is my daughter, Maya Morrison" He added moving his gaze towards a girl standing behind him. She was actually so beautiful. She was like 14 something. Her long black hair fell on the waist. The amount of innocence her face held.

"Hii doll" I whispered to her. Maya gave me a sweet smile coming out from behind her father.

"Hello Mrs Williams" She whispered back.

"Call me Ellie" I reassure her. She looked down for a second then look up at me, nodding.

"Excuse me I've to make a important call" Leo said giving us a smile. Before leaving he looked back at Maya helding his hand out for her to hold.

"Let her" I said glancing at Maya.

"Actually she gets uncomfortable around unknown people" Leo said wrapping his one arm around her to make her comfortable. "Her mother passed away last year and since that she has got quiet and always stay alone in her room"

My smile disappeared as I look back at Maya.

Poor her. At this age she lost her everything, her precious thing in the world. A world without mother is nothing.

"It's okay" I smiled brushing her hair behind her ear smiling. "Let me show you around?" I asked and she nodded her head.

"You guys carry on, we will be right back" I said to both Mason and Leo and walk out from the balcony with Maya to bump into Marcullo.

"Ellie meet me in 10 mins" Mason shouted from the balcony.

"Alright" I replied.

"Oh Marcullo, good to see you. Let me introduce you with Maya" I said looking at Marcullo to see him staring Maya, like he couldn't take his eyes off her.

I never saw Marcullo being like this.

"Marcullo!" I called out causing him to flinched and blushed.

"I'm Marcullo" He reached out his hand for her to shake. Maya stared at his hand for a second then step forward and shook hands.

"I'm Maya"

"Will you roam her around? I've to take a look at the guests Marcullo" I asked. He glanced at Maya then took a deep breathe.

"Sure" Marcullo shrugged. "I've no problem"

"Thank you son, enjoy" I smiled as I watched them getting downstairs. I walked back to Mason to see him standing in with his arms crossed over his chest as he stared at the sky.

"Are you okay?" I asked hugging him from behind. He leg out a sighed intertwining our fingers.

"I'm tired" He whispered.

"Take some rest then" I answered as he turned to face me. I cupped his face and gently kiss him. "I'll take care of the guests"

"That's okay" He gently smiled against my lips. "As long as you're with me, I'm all fine"

I smiled pressing my lips against his once again. This time deeply. His hands wrapped around my waist and he pulled me more closer to him.

"You smell so good" I whispered against his lips. "I'd like to eat you up as a sandwich" I murmured and he let out a beautiful breathless laugh.

"Then let me show you how I would like to eat you" he whispered. His eyes moved to my lips."I want to savour every inch of your gorgeous body. I can never get enough of you"

"Show me then" I smiled.

"Sure Principessa" he pressed his lips against mine.

"Wait- is that Marcullo?" Mason broke the kiss staring down at the garden, surprised. I move forward to see Marcullo and Maya at the corner of the garden, dancing. Their beautiful giggles and laugh filled the air. I couldn't helped but smile staring at them. Maya whispered something to Marcullo and ran away causing his eyes to grow widened. Marcullo grinned before chasing her.

"I never saw Marcullo being this- I mean so close to any girl" Mason said grinning. "Look how happy he's looking"

"I know right" I wrapped my arms around his neck. He gently brushed my hair behind my ear, smiling.

"Yes, Mi Amor" Mason whispered kissing the top of my head.
