So without further ado, the chapter-

A regrettable notion on his part, for what Justin had seen, he wished he could forget. He looked on in shock at Avalon settled, in the grass, at the trunk of a tree.

Not just that though as a boy of curly brown hair lay on her lap. She stroked blissfully through his hair; they looked into each other's eyes without a care in the world.

"When, Ava? I need to know." The boy urged, his voice strained. He sat up abruptly before putting a hand on Avalon's waist. Justin did his best to keep composure. He needed to hear this.

The boy spoke again.
"I don't wanna hide it from anyone. Your body belongs to me and I want to shout that at the top of my lungs." He murmured sweetly, pressing his lips to her neck.

Avalon giggled at this and that was when Justin broke. She pushed the boy away from her neck with a smile before taking ahold of his hand. Her voice was soft and sweet as she spoke, a tone that Justin had gotten familiar with hearing when she talked with Aaron.

"I know, I'm yours, Eli. Please, understand that, okay? I'm yours." She whispered before leaning in to kiss the boy. He kissed back feverishly before they both lay in the grass, facing each other. His hand was strewn across her waist and her hand rested on his face as she slowly caressed him.

How Avalon got into an affair with Elliot in the first place- Part 3

"Tell me everything!"

Avalon turned at the voice, just as Vanessa rushed in, linking arms with her. She hadn't seen her after first period and now it was time for lunch. Avalon could only shake head, smiling coyly. She knew that, with just one sitting with Elliot, every student's interest would be peaked to insatiable peaks; that's the way it was in this school. With a new face, came new gossip and- yet again- Avalon was the centre of it. It had been the same when both her and Justin had entered the school as close as can be and, again, when she had captured Aaron's heart. Now, it had happened again when the new boy had set his sweet eyes on her. It was as she liked it.

"Tell you what? We just discussed how we're going to do the assignment." Avalon spoke vaguely but deliberately. Her words were deliberate enough to make Vanessa's eyes widen in shock and she nudged Avalon in the rib as they walked.

"You're working together as partners on the project as well! Did he ask you to work with him?!" She asked intrusively, but Avalon didn't mind it. In fact. the more intrusive the question, the better. It made for more engaging gossip.

"Yeah, he asked me to work with him and for my number so we can finalise the assignment details, but that's it, Vanessa, you're too much." Avalon giggled out, making Vanessa gasp again as they hustled through the crowds of people towards her locker.

"He asked for you number?! Oh, he so definitely is into you!" She let out excitedly and Avalon knew, knowing her mouth, that other students would inevitably find out. They'd find out that the new boy was just another one in the roster of people that had fallen for Avalon- the Golden Girl of Redwood High. They would wish they were her; they would wish they too could be close to her, so that they could understand what it was that pulled such notable men to her. They'd even fume with jealousy just looking at her. They'd fester with envy by just seeing the way in which Elliot's eyes lit up as he sees her in class; they'd seethe in spite by noticing the small rare smiles on Justin's typically stoic face as he converses with her and they'd burn in bitterness as they see Aaron's perfect eyes covet only her body. She was the IT girl, the beautiful enigma that plagued the walls of this school and she adored it.

"Don't be silly." Avalon muttered playfully as they reached her locker and she felt Vanessa's arm tense in hers, making her look up to see what had caused it. Gorgeous grey eyes, as dull as the dead sea, pierced through hers and she couldn't help but smile as she processed his presence.

"Justin!" She greeted with just his name as he came up to her and he made way to her as well, moving off from where his toned body was leaning against the metal frames. He finally reached her then, his hair tickling at his eyes.

"You ready to go?" He asked, voice tired and she nodded at his words, just as Vanessa withdrew her arm.

"Yeah, I'll see you after lunch then." She spoke, her voice soft all of a sudden and it wasn't too hard to notice the red tinge to her cheeks. It was both exhilarating and intimidating to be in Justin's presence, Avalon knew that the others felt this way, so she could only watch in amusement as Vanessa made way to leave hurriedly before she looked back to her best friend. His eyes spared but a small glare towards the direction of where Vanessa had gone before he turned back to Avalon, gesturing stoically with his head towards the lunch hall.

"Let's go." Was all he said. He wasn't too fond of her friendship with Vanessa; nor was Raven. Vanessa was known to cause trouble with her gossip and the both of them didn't quite like that she had become warm with Avalon. It was Aaron who had told both of them that Avalon wouldn't be one to fall to trouble, so their friendship was fine. It made her smile just how much he trusted her; he treated her as though she was an angel, devoid of any lies and she loved it. She loved the way she looked through his eyes.

Even now, she felt like the picture-perfect image of a damsel as Justin placed his large hand against her back, guiding her through the lunch hall towards their large table at the back. It was an action so small, but it wasn't missed by her or anyone other student, for that matter. The gesture made her smile as she looked up at him: his silver eyes, pale skin and jet black hair. He was a gorgeous, brooding man that only showed her his alluring smile. Avalon knew that if he hadn't seen her as his little sister then she would have-

"There you guys are! Finally!" Raven called out from where she was sat on the lunch table, feet on the chair.

"The D&D duo of Danny and Drake were driving me insane with their combined 2 brain cells." She continued with a groan before she threw a chip at where Danny and Drake were sitting beside her, making gorilla noises.

"Jealous they have one more than you?" Justin spoke as he moved in, the warmth of his hand leaving her back and Raven snorted, her eyes glaring at him.

"Don't test me right now. I just had Physics and my brain is emitting smoke." She huffed and Avalon could have sworn she saw Justin's lips quirk up. She didn't like it but, even more so, she didn't like that his eyes were actually looking at her. He looked at no one other than her and it irked her. With that look in his eyes, it was almost as though he-

"You need a brain for it to emit spoke." A familiar voice interrupted and Avalon could recognise that tantalising, smooth voice from anywhere. It made the shudders run down her spine and she turned around, meeting the ocean blue of his eyes as he walked in, Mason by his side. He was tall and lean, that was what she noticed second. The first was that damn smile, the one that just oozed sensual allure. He could coax a woman's heart with just a stretch of those beautiful lips.

"You guys better leave her alone or I'll hear about it all night." Mason laughed as they both reached and Raven huffed, smiling snidely.

"Bold of you to assume you'll even have me tonight, Jackass." She spoke bittersweetly, making all the other boys laugh at her words.

"Raven 1; Mason 0!" Drake called out, banging his hands against the table and Avalon laughed at this, moving closer also.

"Of course, Rae's gonna come out on top." She spoke warmly, making Raven smile as she blew a kiss to her.

"And, here I was, saving all my compliments for you. Guess I'm not extended the same courtesy." She heard Aaron's murmur just as his arms wound round her body, holding her in his strong, warm grip. She could smell his cologne and it made her smile more as she looked to him from her peripheral.

"You'll always get the most though and that's what counts." She answered in a soft tone and Danny let out a scoff, looking away from where he was eating.

"I deserve the most considering how much shit you guys give me!" He argued and Raven sat back at his words, leaning against her palms lazily.

"You're right. He does deserve a compliment, doesn't he, Aaron?" She asked, the smirk growing on her face and Avalon could feel Aaron nod as he moved off her, leaving her cold. Instead, he moved to her side, putting his arm around her waist, drawing out butterflies.

"There's one thing that Danny boy could do that no one else can do and that is take a slap like a champ." Aaron answered playfully, his blue eyes glancing slightly over to Justin and Danny frowned at this in confusion.

"What do you-"

Smack.

Justin's hand made contact with the back of Danny's head, making him whine and then everyone was laughing yet again as Raven and Aaron high-fived.

"Hey, let's leave him the boy alone and eat now." Mason spoke through breaths just as Danny was complaining to Drake. They moved towards the benches and Avalon followed, but not before Aaron stopped her for a moment, his strong hand gripping at her chin until he pushed his lips into her own.

She moved accordingly, drowning in the softness of his lips as he kissed her with an expertise that scared her. He was hers and hers alone, that was the absolute monopoly of truth. She revelled in his adoration as his kiss warmed her to her very core, one hand around her waist and the other fiercely gripping at her chin with a force that showed the extent of his emotions towards her. He was obsessed with her and it made her smile into the kiss.

"Been wanting to do that since I saw you." Aaron murmured roughly as they withdrew and Avalon could only stare up at him, still feeling hazy from his kiss. His lips quirked up at this as he guided her towards their seats, her chest heaving. It was as though one kiss from him made her entire world spin.

But, she wanted to focus right now; wanted to look around at all the envious eyes on her and, that, she did. It made her smile to see all those that were looking at her; that was until her eyes met his.

Elliot.

He was walking with another male student through the hall, his hand holding to the strap of his backpack and his eyes on her. His expression gave nothing away: neither sadness nor anger. He was a blank slate and that only agitated Avalon. She was always aware of what others were feeling but, here, she couldn't tell. Was he now over his interest of her, after seeing who he was up against? Was he angry that she hadn't disclosed that she had been dating? She didn't know but it upset her greatly. No man had upset her like this and she could only watch as he walked away and out of the lunch hall before she too turned away, moving to sit down.

Throughout lunch, she made small talk and conversed with her friends as others watched them, but her mind dwelled on that very moment when her eyes had locked with his and he had given her nothing. It was frustrating her; no man had ever given her such a look of indifference. It was all she could think about until her phone pinged with a notification and she stilled as she looked at the notification.

'We'll meet and do the assignment at my house tonight. The address in 21 Gilbert Lane. I'll see you then, Ava x'

She couldn't help but feel her heart thunder at the message. There was a man that had seen the perfection that is Aaron and had still chosen to continue his advances. It showed her that it was her and only her that had peaked his interest and it excited her. The different reaction excited her. All she could think as she sat between her best friend and boyfriend was how anxious she was for tonight.
