Chapter 3

Did She Initiate the Hook Up?

The afternoon sun shone in through the small glass window in the changing room, illuminating the girl’s flawless side profile.

Her skin was fair, hence the light red mark looked especially obvious.

When she raised her hand, she also revealed the decorative sleeve button on her wrist. It had an identical shape to the mark on her face.

“Minmin,” Xia Bohe said, biting her lip. “What time is it now? Has the rehearsal started? Why is Senior Liu here?” She asked.

Mi Min stared at her and just realized the problem at hand.

Liu Qichen was from Cohort 21 of the Performing Arts Faculty, and they had finished their rehearsal half an hour ago.

It was obvious that he had entered the changing room after his rehearsal had ended.

On the other hand, Mi Min and the others had their rehearsal after the Cohort 21 students. That meant that she had separated from Xia Bohe for not more than half an hour.

Her original plan was to use the time difference to set up and frame Xia Bohe and a senior meeting promiscously.

However, everyone noticed that the mark on Xia Bohe’s face matched the sleeve button on her sailor uniform. The mark was the result of her face pressing on her arm when she fell asleep after ‘changing her clothes’.

This kind of mark would take at least twenty to thirty minutes to form.

This largely proved that Xia Bohe did not know a single thing about the senior’s arrival.

After Mi Min left, Xia Bohe would not have the time to ask a boy to meet her.

Thinking of this, Mi Min felt like spitting blood.

Fifteen minutes ago, Xia Bohe was still unconscious with just a towel on her!

She had walked over to confirm it herself.

She turned her head to see Dean Zheng nodding at Xia Bohe’s words. Without a hint of doubt, she believed her and shifted her suspicious gaze away from Xia Bohe almost instantly.

Mi Min almost gritted her teeth to pieces. She strode forward and grabbed Xia Bohe’s arm before turning around to question Liu Qichen. “The rehearsal started a long time ago. Senior Liu, this is the female changing room. Why are you here?”

Her words hit the nail on the head.

Xia Bohe, whose arm was hooked by Mi Min, instantly felt a coldness seep through her body.

According to the book’s plot, Mi Min had stolen the phone from the original host and sent a text message to invite Liu Qichen. If Liu Qichen did not delete the text message and it was exposed right now, she would not be able to avoid the scandal of her hooking up and being promiscuous with a senior!

Without batting an eyelid, she retreated while pulling her hand away from Mi Min’s grasp and rubbed the goosebumps on her skin.

When she read the book, she had felt that Mi Min was the most evil among all evils.

She would bully and suppress girls who were prettier than her, tried every way to get close to the male lead, and used dirty tactics to trample and push the original host down to the ground.

Luckily she knew the plot and had prepared herself to face it early on.

“Junior Xia sent a text message to me!” Liu Qichen exclaimed, having broken out in a cold sweat since a long time ago. As expected, he would sell her out immediately. “She said that there was something important. I thought she was trapped in here and entered thinking that it was an emergency. Nobody responded when I was knocking outside, I was worried that she was met with harm!”

During such a crucial moment, he did not hesitate to find the text message from his phone and handed it over to Zheng Qingshan.

Zheng Qingshan glanced at it, and her expression changed drastically.

Xia Bohe gritted her teeth.

She could guessed the contents of the text message without even looking at it.

[Senior, I’ll be at the changing room ten minutes later…You must come~]

Even a fool would be able to tell that the tone of the text message was not seeking for help, but one attempting to seek courtship.

This text message could prove that Xia Bohe was the one who invited him and he did not sneak into the changing room.

From the beginning to the end, the situation had only been favorable for him to clear his name.

In the story, Liu Qichen received a warning from the school, and made a reputation for being amorous but not dirty. He then quickly got together with a tier one senior female graduate. In less than a year, he blew up in popularity and this period of his dark past was covered up.

On the other hand, Xia Bohe’s original host had her reputation ruined. Not only did she get penalized, but she was also disqualified from attending performance auditions without any hopes of debuting in the industry.

Xia Bohe grimaced.

As expected, Zheng Qingshan’s reprimand was directed to her at the very next second.

“You guys are too bold! This is a school, not a private facility. You think you have grown up, and hance using all these dirty tricks?”

The juniors did not have much access to resources as the seniors did.

Many of them were in relationships with their seniors, just for a chance to get into the filming group.

However, Zheng Qingshan has always disliked such behaviors, what more an act like this that went boldly against the school rules.

“Xia Bohe, Liu Qichen, both of you come to my office. You’re also both banned from participating in the annual play! Mi Min, tell your class monitor to find somebody who’s free to replace and take on Xia Bohe’s role!”

Zheng Qingshan was raging mad as she ordered.

This scene was the same as what she had read in the book.

Xia Bohe took a deep breath.

She had really transmigrated into the book.

“Wait”, she said.

She closed her eyes. Her body seemed to shiver. She slowly opened her eyes, her eyelashes trembling as if she had to exert a lot of energy to do so.

The dainty, exquisite small face now appeared rather desolate under the sunlight.

“Dean Zheng, can you let me see the text message?” Xia Bohe asked, her voice coquettish and soft like water.

Mi Min lowered her head and smiled coldly.

However, she was met with the soft words of Xia Bohe, who looked like she was about to fall anytime. “My phone was already lost when I finished changing,” she said.

Mi Min’s smile froze.
