Poochie was doing on my nails in the salon she works and we caught up. Destiny was meeting us here since she was getting her nails done as well.

I watched TikTok videos on my phone as she did my nails. I would turn my phone and show her the ones I found interesting or funny.

Around five minutes after Poochie was done doing my nails Jay and Destiny walked in the salon hand in hand.

I got up from the seat and went and washed my hands. I came back and Jay was walking to the door. I sat back down and Poochie dried my hand with a towel.

After she was done designing my nails she placed the acrylic powders away. She applied oil to my cuticles then took the picture of my nails.

She took pictures then sent the pictures to me. I forwarded them to my man and put away phone.

Destiny sat down in the chair in front of Poochie's desk and she started off by cutting Destiny's fingernails.

I sat next to Poochie while munching on some bounty chocolate bars Malachi brought me.

She let out a sigh then picked up her phone.

When I got back it was around 4 p.m. I fed his pit bulls and started dinner. I prepared curried shrimp and white rice.

After I was done, I went upstairs and had a shower. After my shower I got dressed and went downstairs.

"Lock uh yiy babes," he said and I closed my eyes.

"Aye," he said the moment I tried peeping. I jumped at his tone and he started laughing.

"Wah uh a frighten mi fah," I said while opening my eyes.

He smiled before holding me by my waist.

"Uh fih hear," he said before placing a kiss on my lips.

"Alright," I said before closing my eyes.

Soon I heard his door closed.

"Open them?" I asked.

"No,"

"Jump up pan mi," he said and I placed my hand out. I touched his chest before moving my hands to his shoulders.

He placed his hand around my waist and I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist. He placed his hand under my ass and began walking.

I heard the door closed and soon he placed me down. I think we were in the living room because I was sitting on what felt like the couch.

"Uh cook?"

"Yeah,"

"Mi smell it," he said

"Tek uh nose outta mi pot," I said with a smile.

"Open uh yiy," he said and I opened my eyes.

He was seating on the small table in-front of the couch as he held a small bouquet and a present in his hands.

"Malachi," I said while covering my face.

My cheeks heat up and my heart beat increased.

"Babes,"

"Yeah,"

"Move uh hand," he said and I slowly moved my hand.

Mi no think no body ever gimi a rose much less a bouquet.

"Here," he said and I took them.

"Thank you," I said and he smiled.

He got up and sat in the couch. He placed me on his lap and I placed the bouquet down.

"Mi can open it,"

I opened the gift box and raised a brow at the papers. My eyes ran over them and I looked up at Malachi.

"What's this?" I asked

"A property deed," he said

"I know what it is Malachi. I don't understand why you gave it to me," I said in confusion.

"Look in a the box b," he said and I removed the papers.

A key and two business card.

I flipped the cards and read what was on it.

"Can I be your first client?" he asked

"You rented a hair salon-"

"No baby, I brought you a hair salon," he said

My mouth dropped opened and I looked at him.

"Mind uh catch fly," he chuckled.

"Babes," he said as tears ran down my cheeks.

"Why?"

"Why wah?" he asked and I fanned the card.

"Because yah mi oman and I wanted to," he said

"Uh deserve uh own business and uh determine," he said

"This way no gyal cah size up to you caz uh a dem boss," he said and I hugged him.
