So without further ado, the chapter-

A regrettable notion on his part, for what Justin had seen, he wished he could forget. He looked on in shock at Avalon settled, in the grass, at the trunk of a tree.

Not just that though as a boy of curly brown hair lay on her lap. She stroked blissfully through his hair; they looked into each other's eyes without a care in the world.

"When, Ava? I need to know." The boy urged, his voice strained. He sat up abruptly before putting a hand on Avalon's waist. Justin did his best to keep composure. He needed to hear this.

The boy spoke again.
"I don't wanna hide it from anyone. Your body belongs to me and I want to shout that at the top of my lungs." He murmured sweetly, pressing his lips to her neck.

Avalon giggled at this and that was when Justin broke. She pushed the boy away from her neck with a smile before taking ahold of his hand. Her voice was soft and sweet as she spoke, a tone that Justin had gotten familiar with hearing when she talked with Aaron.

"I know, I'm yours, Eli. Please, understand that, okay? I'm yours." She whispered before leaning in to kiss the boy. He kissed back feverishly before they both lay in the grass, facing each other. His hand was strewn across her waist and her hand rested on his face as she slowly caressed him.

How Avalon got into an affair with Elliot in the first place- Part 4

"What do you mean you can't come?" Raven groaned, slumping down on the bed and Avalon only shrugged sheepishly as she walked out of the en-suite bathroom, wrapping her cardigan further up onto her arms.

"I mean that my headache is absolutely murdering me today; I'll have to sit tonight out." Avalon joked, despite the fact that her head was feeling just fine and Raven let out another groan, leaning up onto her elbows with a dead look.

"So you realise it's just gonna be me in the pack of testosterone-filled dumbness?" She quipped, making Avalon giggle but- truth be told- Avalon didn't like the thought anymore than Raven did. It was Friday night and the group always went out to eat at their favourite steakhouse before coming back for a movie night. Just imagining all the boys around Raven; her being the centre of female attention was something that did displease Avalon in ways she would never admit. Instead, she smiled and waved off Raven's words with an usher of her hand.

"Oh, you'll be fine as long as you don't get within 5 foot radius. They are contagious." She joked yet again but- even still- there was a truth to her words. Raven did often steer to dangerously close to Aaron when they teased each other. They had gotten quite close and it irked Avalon. Even more, what was more infuriating was the oddity around her proximity with Justin. It was more infuriating because Justin- unlike Aaron- was a man who despised close contact and, yet, he didn't seem to be fazed by the little physical contacts by Raven: the little elbow nudges and even the looks. In fact, he seemed to be okay with it when it came to Raven and Avalon didn't understand why. Perhaps, it would be best to talk to Justin about boundaries and how uncomfortable Mason would probably feel. After all, Raven was a taken woman, so this probably wasn't something that Mason would be happy with.

"Who's contagious?"

They both snapped their heads just as Danny swivelled in to look at them in the open doorway. He had been next door with the boys as Justin's house with the girls being at Avalon's house right next door. Their parents had been family friends even back in their motherland and- when they had moved here from Columbia- they had even decided to live right next door to each other. It only took a matter of years for Justin and Avalon to get as close as they did: something that Avalon was duly glad for. How else could anyone have captured such an unattainable heart like Justin's if not as she did? It would have been the only way. She was the only one who had been there when he had lost his first tooth, his first day of school and his first illness. She had been privy to it all and- in the midst of it- they had gotten so close to the extent that Justin protected her like she was his own. If only it hadn't been through the eyes of a big brother then it would truly have been perfect.

"Ew, who let the dogs in?" Raven sneered, throwing a throw pillow towards Danny who only soccer-kicked it across the room before cheering.

"And, the crowd goes wild!" He roared, running around the room and Raven threw another throw pillow at him, this one successfully hitting him square in the face, making him whine.

"Can you keep it down, Avalon's got a huge headache and your loud ass will no doubt make it worse!" Raven snarled back, equally as loud and Danny frowned, opening his mouth to speak, but the  sound of another voice interrupted him entirely.

"You've got a headache?"

It was then that they all turned to look at Aaron who was looking to just Avalon, an expression of concern on his face as he walked in.

"Yeah, but don't worry, I think I just need sleep after yesterday's late night trying to help Dad." Avalon consoled softly, but it was futile with Aaron; it always was. He was in front of her in less than a second, eyes tracing her for any signs of visible discomfort as he placed a large hand against her forehead.

"You need to take more care of yourself; you know how I feel when you're sick." Aaron murmured admonishingly and Avalon smiled at the sentiment, liking the way his eyes looked to only her. Her smile widened as Danny and Raven sang corny, romance songs in the background to tease them. Aaron was never aware of it; he was much too transfixed on her, but that was okay. She could notice it all enough for the both of them.

"I do take care of myself; maybe you're not giving me enough pampering." Avalon pouted suggestively, making Aaron's look of concern soften slightly as he smiled, leaning forward until his forehead was pressed against hers.

"Then, screw tonight, I'll stay here pampering you." He drawled and she withdrew at this, the thought of sweet, brown eyes filling her mind suddenly. It was a huge contrast to his bright blue gaze. A huge contrast, indeed.

"Don't you dare cancel your plans for my sake, Aaron. I already feel bad enough as it is, knowing you're worried about me now. I don't want you spending your Friday night pampering me." She conceded and Aaron's eyebrows drew together at this softly as he shook his head.

"You're acting like it's a chore. Spending a Friday night, waiting on you hand and foot sounds like a good day for me." He spoke with a sheer intensity that made Avalon's lips quirk up despite her panic. It showed the extent of his feelings towards her and how far he was willing to go in order to ensure that she was happy. Nonetheless, she still shook her head, eyes looking up to him imploringly.

"How about you go now for the dinner and the movie night and I'll be waiting for you right here for you to come back. We can sleep side by side and you can spend the whole night pampering me." Again, her words were suggestive and she felt Aaron tense from his hand against her forehead. It was a moment that passed as he looked to her in thought before he sighed in defeat, making her internally feel relieved.

"Fine, but I'm gonna pamper you for the whole damn weekend as compensation." He muttered before winding his arms around her into a hug and Avalon giggled into it, hugging him back tightly. In his embrace, she thought of the action of events: travelling to Elliot's house at 6.15pm which is 15 minutes after her friends leave, arriving there at 6.35pm and then staying there until 11pm which is well before Aaron would arrive. Everything would align perfectly.

Of course, she knew doing a project with someone was no secret to keep and she could have just told them, but there was something about this interaction that she wanted to keep safe away from other's eyes. Any other relationship she had, always came through either Aaron or Justin. Even her damn mother liked Justin and Aaron more than she liked her. This was the only relationship that was sacred of their interference. It was an individual that truly wanted to just interact with her and her only. Elliot didn't wish to be Aaron or Justin or to get in their friendship group. He merely found her beautiful and, so, he acted on just that. His actions were only incited by the notion of her and it was something that pleased her.

"Hear that Danny? All you have to do is ask to be pampered and you shall, huh? What a dream." Raven droned and Danny nodded vigorously at this, turning just as another figure stepped into the room, his piercing grey eyes scanning the room.

"Ready to go?" He questioned and Aaron opened his mouth to explain, but then Danny urged forward, smiling sweetly.

"Pamper me, Justin." He announced as per Raven's sarcastic instructions and Justin didn't even seem fazed as he stared at Danny with the same dead eyes.

"My love language is aggression. You still want to be pampered?" He retorted just as quick, making Raven laugh as Danny shook his head to say no. Avalon couldn't help that think that Raven was laughing a bit too loud.

"Go on then, Danny, receive your lil loving! Tell him. Aaron!" Raven cooed, waving him towards Justin and Aaron withdrew at this, brushing a hand through his hair.

"Aw, Venni, I think Danny boy's a bit shy. He might need a bit of a nudge." Aaron teased, making Danny whine. Avalon couldn't focus much on it because then Justin was walking towards her.

"You're not ready." He said it more than asked it, but the concern in his eyes was unmistakeable. There was no care that was more intense; more predatorial than Justin's.

"I've just got a headache and before you ask: no, I don't want anyone to stay back; yes, I'm fine with you all going and please don't let me stop you. I'm just going to be sleeping it off." Avalon spoke in one breath, heart thundering as she thought of the I'll be there at 6.30pm text she had sent to Elliot, knowing all too well that could come undone with just one searing look from Justin. Aaron was smart, but he would concede with just one look from her, he loved her too much. Justin's eyes, however, would not be blinded by his love; logic always evaded all else for him and, so, it worried her what he would say.

"And why do you think I'd go out if you're feeling unwell here?" Was all he asked, voice blunt and Avalon let out a sigh, knowing all too well what words to say around him from how long she had come to know him.

"Please, Justin, I'm only gonna feel worse if someone stays because I'll feel like I took their night. Then, I'll hardly even be able to rest, feeling so aware that  they're there when they could be having fun. It won't be fun for them and it won't help me." She reasoned because reasoning was the only thing that ever worked with Justin. He was a man of truths and she gave it her best effort with her lies.

"I know, but-" Justin began, but then Aaron was putting an arm around his shoulder.

"Let's let her have her alone time. It might be better for a headache anyway. Besides, she doesn't have to watch you lose in a round of pool, does she?" Aaron wagered and Justin's lips quirked up at the challenge. They both were always so competitive and this was just going to be another one of their bets.

"Make sure you don't do anything strenuous. You need anything, call me and I'll come back." Justin instructed or more like demanded and Avalon nodded with a smile.

"Got it, Captain." She spoke and Justin gave her one last look of concern.

"Drink lots of water." Were his last words before Raven pulled her into a bone-crushing hug, rocking from left foot to right foot.

"I hate you for leaving me with them but I'm gonna miss you." She groaned and Avalon laughed just as Raven moved and she smelt Aaron's cologne as he pulled her in for a hug, his warm body holding her gently as though she was a fragile doll in his embrace. She could feel him, laying kisses on her hair, her cheek, her forehead; anywhere he could get his lips on and it made her smile as he moved away.

"I'll see you soon. Save the right side of the bed for me." He whispered to just her before he then too departed and she was left in the silence of her fibs. It was truly odd to not go with them; it was the thing that she always looked forward to at the end of the week yet, now, there was something else occupying her mind.

Elliot.

His soft, bouncy curls and brown sweet eyes as he looked to her with an adoration that astonished her. It was something new, something scary and it filled her with a trepidation not akin to words.

The time was now 6.01pm and Avalon moved to hurriedly get ready to leave just as she heard the cars downstairs as they drove away. They drove away to their regular hang out as Avalon stood in front of her vanity to get ready for an unfamiliar experience.

Little did she know that this one unfamiliar experience would change the course of her entire life.
